LimbSil 20
LimSil 20 Silicone is especially suited to the manufacture of custom silicone liners and sleeves. LimbSil 20 is unique to the industry as the shore hardness and working viscosity can be altered by the technician without changing the mechanical properties. Compatible with our range of silicone pigments, its low viscosity will also ‘wet out’ textile fibres for additional strength. It can also be used for many other applications such as insoles and distal end bearing pads. 

This is totally unique to the industry as the shore harness and working viscosity can be altered by the technician without changing the mechanical properties. This can be achieved with additives during the mixing stage which will not alter the mechanical properties of the silicone (provided guidelines are adhered to).

LSIL20 is white and can, if required be coloured using our range of silicone pigments. This silicone resin is particullarly suited to manufacturing custom silicone liners and sleeves with the addition of textiles it has a low viscosity and will “wet out” the fibres well. It can also be thinned further and if required have it’s shore reduced. It can also be used for many other applications such as insoles, distal end bearing pads etc.

LSIL20SR 

LimbSil Shore Reducer is designed to reduce the shore hardness of LimbSil20, making the final cured silicone softer.

LimbSil Shore Reducer can be used to a maximum of 5% without changing the mechanical properties. Can be used in conjunction LimbSil Thinner, but the TOTAL of these must NOT exceed 5%.
