Dacron Felt is commonly used as a first layer in a lamination to give a very smooth glass like finish, which can be sanded and polished if adjustment is needed. Also used to line corsets etc. to reduce volume. Made from 3mm thick polyester, weighing 280g m². Can also be used in a similar way to Glass Fibre Matting, although less strong. Can be used with acrylic and OrthoPoxy Resin. Available in 1m rolls of various lengths.
